What is the validity of ISO 9001 certification?

ISO 9001 certificates are valid for three years from the date of issue. Surveillance audits must be performed once per year during the validity period of the certificate except for the years when performing recertification audits. At the end of the three years, a full recertification audit is done, issuing a new certificate at the end of three years.
